Beginners' programme: I nostri programmi
Event(72of99) (1).jpg
Intermediate (Grade 2+)

We offer individual and ensemble coaching at the highest level. Our intermediate ensemble runs on Saturdays 5-7pm at St Mary's Church, Withens Lane, Liscard.

We provide copies of Baroque bows for our Intermediate players

The Intermediate Ensemble

The ensemble runs every week for 2 hours. The first hour is focused on ensemble playing where we learn engaging repertoire specifically chosen to improve not only chamber music skills but also general string technique. At the intermediate level we focus on music from the Baroque era. Our specialist tutors focus on teaching our young musicians to play in a historically informed style using copies of Baroque bows.

The second hour is dedicated to a variety of musicianship games using Dalcroze and Kodály inspired activities to build a strong musical foundation.

We always leave time for fun and socializing with each other and there are regular opportunities throughout the year for organised extra activities and performances.
