INTERNATIONAL RESIDENCIES

Every summer select members of the Academy travel nationally and internationally to work intensively with EMAE's as well as some guest tutors, and give concert recitals in prestigious venues as part of EMAE.

Early Music Youth Orchestra (EMYO) in Italy, 2018

The Making of a Little Orchestra A short documentary on EMYO's residency in Italy The musical charity Early Music as Education (EMAE) has been working with a small group of young string players from Merseyside to drive them to a very high standard of musical performance comparable to that of the best youth orchestras in the world. In Summer 2018, the Orchestra travelled to Central Italy for a week-long residency and a successful concert tour. Filmed and directed by iMotion in San Ginesio and Tolentino, Marche, Italy.
